Intro to Rededication Document
The following document, Declaration of Rededication to the Constitution of the United States of America, may appear to propose drastic actions with very disruptive consequences. But as Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence, “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” We do not propose overthrowing our government nor replacing our government but restoring our government and protecting it from a siege by those who would corrupt it and do harm to those who politically oppose them, and take the freedoms guaranteed in our constitution away from its citizens.
If the people overcome the influence of the propaganda and lies propagated by the Socialists and Marxists and show that they have rededicated themselves to the principles of a democratic republic by voting out those who promote or align themselves with the “transforming of America” into a socialistic or Marxist government, we will not need to take the actions designated in the document.
We will consider the direction of our government to be righted and work towards and hope that it shall continue as a Democratic Republic.
If the voters continue to support the Socialist/Marxist transformation of America, we must take action. We will not tolerate an autocratic government that does harm to its political adversaries and takes away our liberties and rights and livelihoods as free citizens under the Constitution of the United States.
I submit this document for consideration and change to represent a consensus amongst governors and those who are willing to take the necessary steps to guarantee a government for the people, by the people and of the people.
In either case, I would suggest that California, with 55 electoral votes, has become too big to suit the purposes of an electoral college, garnering too large of a regional influence over the election, and should be divided to allow a voice more sensitive to the voting public, rather than so many votes be assigned to one large block, and cause so many voters to be over ridden.
Perhaps the easiest solution would be to mandate that California’s electoral votes be divided or pro-rated for the candidates.
